I spent 2 years in and out of mental health wards at 23. After deep challenges with my mental wellbeing, I started building my own sanctuary at home - warm baths with aromatherapy and soundscapes. It gave me some peace, but the water got cold, the space wasn't special, and at 6'3", I never fit. I'm building what I would have loved at studios I practiced at.
